Oh. Okay, fine. This has been the biggest let down of anything I have ever purchased. After 11 useless DVD's go into the trash I think.
After a year goes by, I downloaded the latest update, 9.04 and tried to convert an.flv file to a Quicktime file. "Well, that's okay, I'll use it to back up large amounts of data by spanning across DVD's." I have an 11 DVD Span going and it crashes on DVD 5 or 6. Guess what. I am thinking. Okay, I'll just use it to convert my audio to mp3's.oh wait, it only converts every other format on the planet but mp3's. So I decide to try it again.
When I realized how undeveloped it was for this task, I thought. I have yet to find any software as buggy as Toast 9. Nope. A ton. Am I the only one that can't do anything with this software.
It again crashes on DVD 5 or 6. .lol. But the conversions on 25% of them were all messed up. I own a ton of software. Error message. Surprised. So the only thing I use this software for now days is to burn CD's, but that is nothing that iTunes can't do.
I hope some other company that knows what they are doing will create software like this that works. DON'T BUY. I initially bought it to be able to master CD's. YOU'LL REGRET IT. I'll use it to convert some movies for my ipod touch. Months upon months went by with no updates. has anybody mentioned that they don't have any support.
It appears that I am not the only one on here frustrated by such a lousy product.
It worked great. I initially wrote a very bad review for this program because CD Spin Doctor did not work properly. After I had installed it for a week, software update kicked in and I downloaded the updated version. So this really is great software for converting records, cassettes to CD or MP3. If I had known about the update sooner, it would have saved me a lot of Angst.
Very Good product that supports audio and video for MAC. Good for all who create audio, video recording and CD/DVD Labels. It Works without problems and is very easy to use.
Works well. I has crashed a couple of times, but it may be that I was trying to do too much.
I have used previous versions of Toast and been pleased with the results. But this version really makes producing a dvd a snap and the menus it creates have a really professional look. I don't have a BluRay recorder, but this version not only works with dual layer, it will compress down automatically to fit onto a single layer.
